England have named a youthful looking side for their opening women’s 6 Nations game against Scotland, on February 5th at Lasswade RFC, Edinburgh, kick off 5pm.The current title-holders are going for a record breaking seventh consecutive title, and include the uncapped lock Emily Braund on the bench alongside a number of players who hold just a handful of caps.

Wins for Richmond, Saracens, Wasps and Lichfield closed out the English women's rugby Premiership ahead of the Six Nations break. Richmond are still four points clear at the top of the table despite Saracens grabbing a bonus-point and they are now the only two in with a shout of the title with just a couple of games remaining in March and April.
