Despite finishing?third in the Six Nations this season,?England are top of the first ScrumQueens World Test Ranking. Although the most recent tests carry a greater weight in the calculations, good performances in last year's Autumn Internationals, and wins in previous Six Nations have given?England a ranking?ahead of France and Ireland.
New Zealand are only third and Australia 11th?mainly because they have played little (or, in Australia's case, no) test rugby since the last World Cup.
*Nomads and the Caribbean XV are included in the list?for illustrative purposes as both play, or have within recent years played, games or tests against test nations. However, as neither represents a single union they are not given a ranking position.
