World Cup Day Final Day: Live updates.

Follow our live updates here throughout the final day of matches at the Women's Rugby World Cup. It's Ireland V Scotland, Sweden V Kazakhstan, USA V Canada, South Africa V Wales and Australia V France. Later today it's England V New Zealand in the final.

11.18: Little late starting here, apologies. We're at Ireland V Scotland in what is a big clash of the 6 Nations regulars.  Niamh Briggs just kicked a really good penalty to give the Irish a 3-0 lead. Number 8 Joy Neville has already been prominent. On the other pitch Kazakhstan lead Sweden 5-0.

11.25: Not much in this so far though Ireland have had most of the ball. Their scrum, which has been a real problem for them this World Cup, has held up so far. AND Ireland score! TRY IRELAND. Good burst from Jo'O Sullivan and the play moves right with Neville finding Eliza Downey who gets over in the corner. 8-0.

11.30: TRY IRELAND! A great solo effort from Niamh Briggs who just dodged about 5 people on the way to the line on a 60 metre mazy run. One of the best tries Ireland have scored there. Under the posts too. She kicks it over. 15-0. Sweden are down 12-0 now but they have missed two penalties.

11.37: SCOTLAND TRY! Out of nowhere Scotland find themselves deep in Ireland's half and a great line-out and rolling maul sees their pack drive Ireland over the line. Donna Kennedy in her last game for Scotland got it down  15-5 now.

11.49: Bit scrappy now with a lot of errors creeping in, both sides have kicked the ball away a bit too much but the Scots are getting back into this game with sustained possession. Nicola Halfpenny missed a penalty kick just now.

11.58: Almost half time. Halfpenny kicks a penalty as Scotland have dominated the last 10 mins or so. It's 15-8 now.

HALFTIME: 15-8 here. Scotland are well in this game now. They have come to life towards the end of the half with some storming runs from Kennedy & Lindsay Wheeler up front. If the distribution fro Sarah Gill was a little cleaner they might have made more of their possession. Anyone's game. It's 12-3 to Kazakhstan btw.

12.10: Teams coming back out. If you want to follow Sweden V Kaz a bit more closely use the IRB's feed here. I forgot to say you can see the Irish and Scottish teams HERE as well.

12.16: TRY IRELAND! Much like the start of the first half Ireland came out firing. Second score for Downey - patient buildup and then O'Sullivan and Claire Molloy (who has impressed) help the ball go wide quick and Downey does well to squeeze in in the corner. Can't remember the last time anyone from Ireland scored a hattrick and she's on for one here. 20-8 now though Maz O'Reilly has just been binned for diving into a ruck. (I think)

12.24: Ireland have picked the tempo up here. Downey and Neville have combined a few times out wide and Briggs looks a threat every time she has the ball. Scotland have chances but are making too many handling errors. Oh and they score! IRELAND TRY! Orla Brennan touches down after a good lineout and maul. A carbon copy of the try they actually conceded in the first half. Briggs nails the kick from the touchline. This is impressive stuff from a side who were hammered by the USA a few days ago.

12.25: SWEDEN TRY! I can't see much from here but it looks like a maul drove them over. It;s 12-8 over there now in the battle to avoid last place.

12.40: Another IRELAND TRY! Briggs gets her second. Good punching (not literally) up front and a lovely soft pass from Neville keeps it alive and Briggs paced to the line. 32-8 now.

12.51: Almost over here, Neville has been carded for not rolling away but Ireland are coping fine. The rain is pouring down here now. Ugh, bad news for the final.

RESULT: Sweden 8 Kazakhstan 12

RESULT: Ireland 32 Scotland 8

Heading to the Stoop now so for USA V Canada updates you should follow a couple of good Twitter accounts HERE and HERE

13.53: Thankfully it's not raining in Twickenham. Catching up on the other games, Canada are leading USA by 10-6 in what sounds like a really tight battle and Wales are up 5-0 at the moment against South Africa with a try from Naomi Thomas.

HALFTIME: Canada 17 USA 11. Heather Moyse & Megan Gibbs have scored tries for Canada with the rest of the points coming from Anna Schnell. For USA Ashley English has touched down with the rest coming from Christy Riggenberg's boot.

Wales are now well up against South AFrica and are 24-0 up.

14.26: Wow, the USA and Canada are going toe for toe in their clash. USA's Lynelle Kuglar has just scored  and her team have crept ahead 18-17.

14.32: USA have gone further ahead. Vanesha McGee gets it and the USA are now 23-17 ahead. This will be a real boost to the Americans as the clock ticks on.

15.00: We are here at France V Australia at the Stoop. good crowd here. Apparantly they have sold 10.5k tickets. It;s 23-20 to the USA in that game at the moment. Tight!

15.06: France have made the better start. Their power up front is telling. 3-0 now with Aurelie Bailon kicking a penalty.

RESULT: USA 23 Canada 20. The Americans will be THRILLED with that.  They finish fifth.

RESULT: Wales 29 South Africa 17.

15.16: TRY AUSTRALIA and what a good one!  Cobie-Jane Morgan gets it but the buildup was brilliant. Kristy Giteay threw her a super pass after a great passage of offloading. 5-3. This is a great game!

15.28: By the way that amazing tackle Australia's Nicole Beck made on Fiona Pocock has had 55,000 views on Youtube. Watch it again here. BOOM

15.30: TRY AUSTRALIA! Australia outmaul the bigger French pack with Rebecca Trethowan going over. Nice work there. They are well up for this and are running everything. 10-3 now.

15.35: TRY AUSTRALIA! Morgan again - this time Tricia Brown and Beck did the hard work on the break and Morgan provided the power in the middle. Beck converts. 17-3.

15.41: TRY AUSTRALIA. It 's all Australia now as they are showing off their impressive attacking style of play. Tricia Brown scores under the posts as she sliced through the weak French defence. 22-3 now at halftime.

15.51: Just spotted Serge Betson cheering on France. Also saw Heather Fisher the England flanker who is missing the final through injury. She's here with a cast. Poor thing.

16.11: Game scrappy now. There is obvious anticipation here for the main event as the press box and the stands fill up.

16.20: Bang! France fullback Elodie Poublan made a great hit there on Sharni Williams. That's about the most exciting thing that's happened this half.

16.33: France have had two players binned. I totally missed both. Oops. Both sides look tired now. No score in the second half yet.

16.35: FRANCE TRY! At last something exciting in this half. Manon Andre was pushed over after a a very solid maul. With 6 mins left it's too little too late.

16.42: France get back on top for the closing minutes and they push over the line but it's gone to the video ref. No try.

RESULT AUSTRALIA 22 FRANCE 8
