Nominations for the Scrumqueens.com Women’s Rugby awards for 2016 are now open

Scrumqueens awards nominations open!

Our end of year awards have been growing in popularity in recent years and for the fourth year in a row, we are asking you to nominate your top players, coaches and teams.

There are nine award categories again this season and these awards are about the entirety of the past 12 months.

Previous winners of the Scrumqueens Player of the Year include England's Emily Scarratt and Ireland's Sophie Spence, while Sevens Player of the Year winners have included Portia Woodman, Sarah Goss and Nadezda Kudinova.

Award Categories1. Women's Player of the Year (must have played in at least one test match in 2016).2. Women's Coach of the Year (must have been the coach or manager of a team that has played at least one test match in 2016)3. Women's Sevens Player of the Year (must have played at least one sevens international in 2016)4. Women's Sevens coach of the Year (must have been the coach or manager of an international sevens team in 2016)5. Women's Young Player of the Year (must have been U23 on 1st January 2016)6. Women's International team the Year7. Women's Hall of Fame nominee (which former player, coach, administrator or team should be recognised by the Rugby Hall of Fame - and why?)8. Which players should be in Scrumqueens' XV of the Year? (Please include position!)9. Which players should be in Scrumqueens' Sevens Squad of the Year? (Please say if you would play them as a forward or back!)

The awards are open until December 16 and we'll announce the winners at the end of the month. You can voteHERE
