A US university side has seen its empowering women's rugby advertising campaign gain huge popularity online.

The #BecauseOfRugby campaign was launched by the Emory University women's side and showcases a series of images which highlight the impact playing rugby has made to their lives.
"We wanted to share the positive impact of rugby with our friends and family, and ended up sharing it with the world. The positive responses were overwhelming and far surpassed our expectations, and further supports the positive, empowering environment that rugby fosters," the team said.
