In 2014, Gary Street led England women to Rugby World Cup victory and sadly earlier this year he suffered a massive stroke following a heart bypass operation, and severe complications which are ongoing.
The squad from that World Cup has decide to run, cycle, row and swim collectively covering 2014 kilometres. The activities have already started and will conclude at Twickenham Stadium on August 17, the date England lifted that World Cup.
Their goal is to raise the necessary funds for Gary’s rehabilitation, including physiotherapy, speech, and occupational therapy, which are crucial for his continued recovery.
You can get involved by donating to help the squad reach its target.
