Rugby welcomed it 76th international XVs team yesterday when Andorra played their first test match, against Bulgaria who only made their test debut last year.
Andorra have played at the highest level of European 7s so began as likely favourites against Bulgaria, and so it proved. The home team were awarded a penalty inside the first minute, which was safely converted by Modesto, and shortly thereafter fullback Sanchez was stepping through the Bulgarian defence for her teams first ever try.
Andorra was noticeably on another level to their opponents, and the scores came quickly. With flyhalf Modesto on target for most of her kicks, after 20 minutes they were already 34-0 ahead, and they passed 50 in the 25th minute. At halftime Andorra led 67-0.
Andorra's score reach three figures in the 67th minute, with a final score of 119-0.
