Six Nations: Team of the Week

After four rounds of the women's Six Nations, we choose our latest team of the week.

Another round of games and another incredibly difficult team of the week to choose.

We've left out so many standout players here we could quite easily have named a second team and there were some very close calls.

In the front row, Amy Evans is the unluckiest to miss out but Sarah Bern just continues her outstanding form and she is impossible not to put into the team as the first choice.

At lock, both England's Cath O'Donnell and Abbie Scott performed strongly as did Valentina Ruzza (Italy) and Sarah Bonar (Scotland) ,but Audrey Forlani and Emma Wassell were superb.

At blindside, Ciara Griffin makes it at 6 ahead of Beth Lewis, who really was key to the Welsh win, while Claire Molloy and Siwan Lillicrap complete the backrow, holding off the challenges of Sarah Beckett (England), Jade Konkel (Scotland) and Sarah Hunter (England)

England's Leanne Riley and Katy Daley-Mclean have developed a neat partnership at 9 and 10, but Sara Barratin battled as hard as any Italian player on the field in a tough loss and takes the 9 shirt. The rest of the backs almost picked themselves, though players strongly considered include Lisa Martin who was impactful off the bench for Scotland, Yolaine Yengo (France)  and Zoe Harrison (England) and we should also mention the assured return of Jessy Tremouliere, whose goal kicking was perfect and who came through her first game in a year very well.

Daley-Mclean and Breach are now the only players to have made all four 'teams of the week' in the tournament.
