Playoff Seeding games continue

Without a victory in the World Cup so far, Kazakhstan will resort to any measures to win this clash and won't hesitate to slow the game right down if it's the only way they can get the better of South Africa. The South Africans had a torrid time against Australia so will want to get back to how they play best and throw the ball around and get some scores on the board.

This might not be a pretty contest as both sides will be scrapping to avoid battling for last place but South Africa will fancy their chances of winning their second game at this competition.

Wales put up a brave fight in their last clash against New Zealand and as disappointed as they are with how their World Cup campaign has fared with no wins so far, they will be up for the fight against Sweden. Wales have the better players of the two sides but they've got to put it together for a whole 80 as the Swedes do not lack spirit.

Sweden came to the World Cup with no pressure on them, qualifying as the lowest ranked side, but despite not winning a game yet they are full of heart and will keep playing to the final whistle.

You would think though that Wales would have too much in the tank up front to let this one slip.

A replay of the pool game this could be an entirely different match from the one where Canada put 25 of their 37 points on Scotland in the first half. Scotland have already achieved their first target of bettering their 9th place finish at the last World Cup and coach Gary Parker is pleased with how they performed against Sweden and indeed in their second half against France. They have nothing to lose so should be far more of a threat than they were last week.

They will face a determined Canadian outfit though who are still disappointed not to be involved in the semis and who will now be more than determined to finish fifth.

This might be a lot closer than last week but you feel Canada will have enough to take this.

Another pool clash repeat, I also believe this will be a totally different clash from the first where Ireland scored a four try bonus point and were much deserved winners. Since then Ireland have lost their first choice scrumhalf Tania Rosser and flyhalf Helen Brosnan through injury and though they have pretty solid replacements they are both a loss. Ireland though have a lot of belief in their ability and with a mobile pack they'll look to move the Americans around the park.

The US were a much improved outfit against England and they will be confident of a much better performance against the Irish this time around.

This could be very tight.
