Free entry to Black Ferns clash

The RFU have confirmed that entry will be free to Englands clash with New Zealand at Twickenham in November.

England, the reigning 6 Nations and Nations Cup champions, take on New Zealands Black Ferns in a two-test series with a game against England A also pencilled in.

The showpiece fixture however is the clash at Twickenham on November 21 played directly after the All Blacks take on England, and the game is also being shown live on Sky Sports in a move that should offer signifcant exposure for the women's game.

Entry to the women's game will open at 415pm following the conclusion of the mens game. Kick-off is at 4.45pm.

England Womens Head Coach Gary Street said: We have had a fantastic start to the season, winning the Nations Cup in Canada. Out there, Canada had tremendous support from the home crowd and it would be great if England got that support in November. Weve always had good crowds at our home games but it would be great to see more fans get behind the England womens team. Certainly that extra support could make all the difference when we play the world champions.

England last played New Zealand in the final of the 2006 IRB Rugby World Cup losing 25-17 and their last win over the Black Ferns came in 2001 when they shocked the world champions on home soil.

England will also play the Black Ferns on November 14th at Esher RFC, kick-off 4pm, with admittance 5 for adults and 2 for Under 16s. Tickets are available on the day. England A will also play New Zealand on November 17th at Esher RFC, kick-off 7pm and entry is free.
