Just before the break the Malaysia Barbarians hit back with a quick try of their own which was converted and the Malaysia Barbarians were leading 7-5.

The second half started with Singapore A looking aggressive with their forwards keeping their attacking momentum and the back line making strong line breaks. In the 60th minute, Phin made a break after a turnover and touched down. The conversion was unsuccessful and Singapore A ended the game with a 10-7 lead.
